TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – WINDSOR JR. SPITFIRES

For the second year in a row the Windsor Jr. Spitfires went on a late-season run to help them clinch first place; last year Windsor won 11 in a row to close out the regular season, this year it was a nine-game win streak (and 16 wins in 17 games after Nov. 13) that left Windsor tied atop the standings with Waterloo – the Jr. Spitfires took first place with more wins (27-26). Windsor’s third-ranked offence scored 127 times, led by league-leading scorer Griffin Robinson, who topped the Alliance in goals (21) and points (45), and top assist-getter Jaydon Fetter (26). Between the pipes, goaltenders Zach Lindley (15-1, 2.27 GAA) and Jax Dhont (12-4, 2.65 GAA) finished first and third, respectively, in wins, with Lindley going unbeaten after Oct. 4.
