TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – TORONTO AEROS
To be strong defensively is one thing; to allow only seven goals in a 22-game season is entirely another. The Toronto Aeros were otherworldly in their own end during the LLFHL regular season, winning 21 of 22 games with a 66-7 goal differential. And three of those seven goals against came in their lone loss. Toronto was dominant right from the drop of the first puck in October; they won their first 13 games, and did not give up a goal until Game 10. The offence wasn’t too bad, either – the 66 goals the Aeros scored put them second in the LLFHL.
