Canada's National Junior Team Qualifies for The Semifinals Where It Will Face USA at 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Canada’s National Junior Team has advanced to the semifinals at the 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship after a 4-1 win over Switzerland in Sunday’s quarter-final.

The Canada vs. United States semifinal is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on Monday, January 3 at HSBC Arena.
The other semifinal will see Sweden taking on Russia at 3:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT on Monday, January 3 at HSBC Arena. In Sunday’s second quarter-final, Russia defeated Finland 4-3 in overtime to advance to the semifinals
