Canada's National Sledge Team to Play for Bronze at 2010 Paralympic Winter Games

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Canada’s National Sledge Team will play for the bronze medal at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, following a 3-1 loss in semifinal action to Japan on Thursday afternoon at UBC.

Marc Dorion (Bourget, Ont.) scored Canada’s lone goal on Thursday in the first period. Canada outshot Japan 20-11.

Canada will now face the loser of tonight’s semifinal between Norway and the United States. The bronze medal game will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. PT at UBC. Japan moves on to Saturday’s gold medal game (12 p.m. PT) against the Norway-United States winner.
