Team Atlantic Staff Applications Available

(Saint John, NB) - Hockey Canada's Atlantic Regional Centre is currently accepting applications for staff interested in the 2008 Female Under Male Under 17 Team Atlantic Programs. The staff positions for each of the teams that are available at this time are as follows:

- Head Coach
- Two Assistant Coaches
- Goaltending Coach
- Director of Operations
- Athletic Therapist
- Equipment Manager

The selection of staff is completed by a committee representing the four Atlantic Hockey Branches which review applications received through the Atlantic Regional Centre.

The Team Atlantic Program is a part of Hockey Canada's High Performance Programming and the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge and National Under 18 Hockey Challenge are the first steps in Hockey Canada’s High Performance Program. Hockey Canada’s High Performance Program is based on a progressive model that begins in the Hockey Canada Branches at the Under 17 (male) and Under 18 (female) level, and continues at the national level with the Under-18 Team and National Junior Team (male), and at the Under 22 and National Team (women). In Atlantic Canada, the program begins at the Male Under 14 and Female Under 15 categories.

Interested individuals are asked to contact the Atlantic Regional Centre to receive a copy of the application form. Please note that the application deadline is February 25th, 2008.
