The entire hockey world lost a dear friend on , as Dave McMaster passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Dave was a driving force behind Canada's inaugural Women's World Hockey Championship team and as Head Coach, guided them to their first of seven World Championship titles.

Known for a great sense of humour and tremendous people skills, Dave's love for the game of hockey and the women's program was second to none.

Dave impacted the game of hockey and will be sadly missed by everyone.
