EVENT INFORMATION

(1) Scouting clinic

Ever thought that you have what it takes to become a hockey scout. Preregister for May 10th/05 from 4pm-10:30pm session with some of Canada and the U.S. best scouts . Learn valuable lessons from the scouts who can give you class room tips along with game experience ratings . Contact the 2005 RBC Royal Bank Cup for more details.
 
(2) Adopt-a-Team School Program

All RBC Teams from across Canada will be adopted by a designated Weyburn School for the duration of the Royal Bank Cup .

Players will visit their adoptive schools to share informationabout their parts of Canada to students eager to learn about new places in their country . Players and students will get the chance to bond when their teams play as students will be present at their games to cheer them on.

(3)  Homestead Lounge

You'll be taken back to a 1905 Saskatchewan Saloon when you step into the "Tom Zandee Sports Arena ". The Idaho Kid will greet you at the door to make time travel easier between Arenas when you need to "wet your whistle ",between periods or games.Help us celebrate our 100th.birthday in the Homestead lounge with events and fun everyday of the Royal Bank Cup celebrations in Weyburn .For those Greenhorns we'll have big screen televisions to ensure that you don't miss a momement of the hockey action with a live feed into the lounge. Come on in and sit a spell and enjoy what is sure to become a nation craze once we're done with you visitors at the 2005 RBC,Royal BAnk Cup in Weyburn !

(4) 2005 RBC Royal Bank Cup Awards Night

The Gala Awards banquet will be one of the premierevents to attend in Weyburn. Mark May 13th., on your calendars as the doors will open at 5:00pm. We'll honour Canada's best Jr.A Hockey playersthis evening . Guest speaker Barry Melrose will enlighten and entertain  banquet guests before turnig over the stage lights to comedian Mark Labelle,who is certain to make your sides split from laughter . (5) Canadian Idol Singing Sensation

If you missed the beautiful voice of Theresa Sokyrka you'll be able to see her live on Sunday May 15th.@1:pm,at the Weyburn Comprehensive School .Theresa will also be in town to sign auotgraphs for fans before the Semi-final game . She will also grace the Homstead Lounge with her presance after the game when she will sing a couple of her favorite songs .The Canadian Idol Star will also be singing our National Anthem at the Championship Game.

(6) Saskatchewan Centennial Scramble Golf Tournament

Golf  The Saskatchewan Centennial 2005 committee will host the tournamnet Friday May 13th. Breakfast registration will go from 7:30to 8:30 am bfore the shot-gun start at 9:00am sharp. Get together with hockey fans from across Canada for some fun and sun Friday .Entry fees are $400.00 per team which includes green fess, Power cart and breakfast.Registration deadline is Friday May 6th.
