Hockey Canada is well aware of the contributions made by volunteers to the game of hockey. And it is for
that reason that volunteers were honoured on Sunday night in Winnipeg, as Hockey Canada handed out the
hardware at its awards night as part of the Annual General Meeting.
Men and women from all regions of Canada were honoured for the time they put in to helping make hockey a
great experience for everyone involved.

Every year delegates from across Canada meet on May's Victoria Day long weekend to discuss
the past year's accomplishments, studies, problems, initiatives and more. During these meetings, policy and
rule revisions for the upcoming season are also addressed.
