VANCOUVER, B.C. – Canada’s National Women’s Team has concluded the round-robin portion of the 2009 Hockey Canada Cup with a 4-2 loss to the United States on Thursday night at GM Place.

Canada made it 3-1 on a goal by Meghan Agosta, but the US quickly answered back to make it 4-1. Brianne Jenner scored shortly after to make it 4-2 but that was as close as Canada would get. A crowd of over 6,000 people enjoyed the entertaining back-and-forth battle.
