Corbin Watson earned his first international shutout as the Canadians wrapped up a sweep of the Asian side
with a lopsided win. Bradley Bowden had five points in the win, while Greg Westlake added four of his
own.

With Canada playing its 100th international game since becoming a part of Hockey Canada in 2004, Billy
Bridges scored three times – including his 100th career goal – and added four assists in a one-sided
victory.

Greg Westlake, Marc Dorion, Jeremy Booker and Brad Bowden scored the goals and Benoit
St-Amand earned the shutout as Canada’s National Sledge Team defeated Korea 4-0 on Sunday afternoon in
exhibition action in Surrey, B.C.

Canada held the advantage in shots on goal, but a pair of first-period goals were too much to
overcome as it was blanked by the Americans. The loss evens the home-and-home series with the U.S. at two
wins apiece.

Bradley Bowden and Billy Bridges scored goals in the shootout as Canada needed extra time to
earn a win over the U.S. at the ESL Center in Rochester, N.Y. Bowden scored the lone goal in regulation for
the Canadians.

JEAN LABONTÉ NAMED CAPTAIN
OF NATIONAL SLEDGE TEAM
Jean Labonté, who has been captain of Canada’s National Sledge Team since the 2007-08 season,
will wear the ‘C’ once again in 2009-10, leading the Canadians towards Vancouver and the 2010 Paralympic
