Natalie Spooner and Jessica Wong scored two goals each as Canada won gold at
the MLP Cup for the seventh time in eight years with a rout of the Swiss. Vicki Bendus and Jennifer Wakefield
each added a goal and two assists in the win.

White scored the other Canadian goals.

Emmanuelle Blais and Carolyne Prevost had two assists apiece and five different
players scored goals as Canada won its lone pre-MLP Cup game. Laura Fortino, Annie Guay, Jennifer Wakefield,
Catherine White and Mallory Deluce scored the goals in the victory.

members of 2009’s silver medal-winning team will be in the line-up for Canada’s National Women’s U22 Team as
it looks to regain gold at the 2010 MLP Cup in Germany. »
