ZURICH-KLOTEN, Switzerland – General manager Doug Armstrong has added defenceman Braydon Coburn (Shaunavon, Sask./Philadelphia, NHL) to Canada’s roster for the remainder of the 2009 IIHF World Championship.

Coburn, 24, is the 24th player on Canada’s active roster, which now includes three goaltenders, nine defencemen and 11 forwards. Forward James Neal continues to be on Canada’s active roster, but cannot compete in the remainder of the tournament due to an eye injury. Canada has one additional roster spot available, as the roster limit is 25.
