The jerseys up for grabs are Team Canada’s newest third jersey. Canada’s 2009 National Junior Team is the first team to wear the third jerseys, which include the word ‘Canada’ written from bottom to top on the front of the jersey, next to an abstract version of the Maple Leaf.

The jerseys, gloves and helmets were all worn during the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa, ON. All proceeds from the sale of game-worn items will go to the Hockey Canada Foundation, to assist in the promotion of the game at the grassroots level.

The auction will last 10 days, closing on January 8, 2009.
