BECOME A HOCKEY CANADA BOBBLE HEAD

CALGARY, AB – Canada’s National Junior Team goes for its fifth consecutive gold medal at the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship from December 26 to January 5 in Ottawa, and now you can be a part of Team Canada with your very own virtual talking bobble head doll.

Visit www.bobblehockey.com  or www.hockeycanada.ca and create your own animated bobble head, complete with your face and a Team Canada jersey. Send it to your family and friends, and be entered to win an all-expenses paid trip to the nation’s capital to watch Canada live at the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship.

“Everyone dreams of playing for Team Canada, and now they can see themselves in the jersey,” says Bob Nicholson, president and CEO of Hockey Canada. “This is a fun way to get people involved with Hockey Canada and have some fun with their friends and family.”

The bobble head can be uploaded to your Facebook page, or made into a desktop background for a personal computer. Everyone who creates a bobble head is entered to win a number of great prizes, including a chance to catch the action live in Ottawa from some of the best seats in the house, TELUS mobile phones, a Samsung HDTV, gift cards from Esso and more!
