NATIONAL SLEDGE TEAM ROSTER ANNOUNCED FOR 2008-09 SEASON
All fifteen members of Canada’s world championship-winning National Sledge Team from 2008 are
back for another run at gold in 2009. Hockey Canada announced on Friday the 18-player roster for the 2008-09
season, which includes just two rookies – forwards Matthew Cook and James Gemmell. » more

SNYDER NAMED SLEDGE COACH FOR 2008-09 AND 2009-10
Jeff Snyder, who has led Canada’s National Sledge Team to unprecedented success since taking
over as head coach in 2004, will return for at least two more seasons, leading Canada through the 2009 IPC
Sledge Hockey World Championship, and the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver. » more
