CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada has again teamed up with eBay Canada to offer game-worn Team Canada jerseys
from the 2007 IIHF World Championship in Moscow, Russia.
Canada won the tournament by defeating Finland 4-2 in the gold medal game.
Hockey fans across Canada and around the world have the opportunity to bid on game-worn white jerseys,
which were issued for games against Norway on April 30, 2007 and Sweden on May 12, 2007. The game against
Sweden was a semi-final. 
The auction will run at www.ebay.ca and www.hockeycanada.ca
beginning Friday, May 2nd, 2008 for 10 days, ending on May 12th, 2008.
These eBay jerseys are one of a kind and game worn by members of Canada’s National Men’s Team, and all
items come with a letter of authenticity from Hockey Canada.
Among the jerseys that hockey fans have a chance to win via the auction are those of captain Shane Doan,
Eric Staal and Cam Ward.
Net proceeds raised through this 2007 IIHF World Championship auction go to Hockey Canada, to assist with
the funding of national development programs, national teams and Hockey Canada initiatives that promote the
sport at the grassroots level.
