Hockey Canada and Nike launched the 2005-08 edition of the Team Canada jersey prior to the 2006 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Vancouver, BC.

The jerseys marked the first use of Nike Swift technology, which drastically reduced drag and overall uniform weight.
