CALGARY – Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), announced Wednesday the
four Canadian locations for the Canada/Russia Super
Series, an event which will run from August 27-September 9, and will also serve to develop Canada’s
National Junior Team for the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship.
The following Canadian cities, all with significant experience hosting international hockey, will each
host one game during the Canada/Russia Super Series. All four cities have hosted an IIHF World Junior
Championship.
September 4, 2007 Winnipeg (Manitoba)
TICKET INFORMATION : Tickets will first be offered to Manitoba Moose season ticket holders, and
tickets will go on sale to the public prior to July 15th at Ticketmaster (204-780-3333)
September 5, 2007 Saskatoon (Saskatchewan)
TICKET INFORMATION: Ticket prices range from $27.50 to $47.50 plus service charges. Saskatoon Blades season
ticket holders will be able to purchase a restricted number of game tickets. Tickets go on sale to the
general public on Thursday June 28th at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster, by phone at (306) 938-7800 or

Brent Sutter (Red Deer, WHL) will coach Canada at the Canada/Russia Super Series, which will be held from
August 27th to September 9th. Peter DeBoer (Kitchener, OHL) and Benoit Groulx (Gatineau, QMJHL) will join
Sutter behind the Canadian bench as assistant coaches for the Canada/Russia Super Series.
The head coach of Canada’s National Junior Team, Craig Hartsburg (Sault Ste. Marie, OHL) will be actively
involved in the preparation and evaluation of Canada’s team for the Super Series, working closely with Sutter
and his staff, along with Jim Hammett.
The Canada/Russia Super Series, a one-time eight-game series featuring the best Under-20 players from
Canada and Russia, will take place from August 27th to September 9th, with the first four games to be held in
Russia, and the final four to be held in Canada.
