PRINCE GEORGE – There are two weeks—a mere 14 days—remaining until the start of the 2007 RBC Royal Bank
Cup, and with the state of Junior hockey currently reaching a fevered pitch in Prince George, organizers
couldn’t be more pleased.
“The level of anticipation for this event seems to rise at a monumental pace the closer we get,” said
event co-chair Dan Rogers. “I don’t know which fact is harder to believe—that it was once two years ago, or
that it’s now only two weeks away.”
In light of that fact, organizers are pleased to offer further ticket options to those who are unable to
take in the entire event. “Tournament passes have been going very well,” said VP of Marketing Phil Beaulieu.
“In response to overwhelming requests from fans who are unable to watch all 13 games, we are pleased to
unveil additional ticket packages.”
Beginning tomorrow, Friday, April 20, fans will be able to purchase Super Paks, two different options that
will include at least one game to each of the visiting teams’ games, two Spruce Kings games and one
semi-final game, as well as the Championship Final. The cost of the packages are $90 each, and, like the
Tournament Package, are available at Ticketmaster.
“As this is a once-in-a-lifetime event for hockey fans of Prince George to witness the National Junior A
Championship here at home, we want to make it accessible to everyone,” added Beaulieu.
