Quebec, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 --- The 2008 World Championship Organizing Committee, through its
co-presidents, Mr. Jacques Tanguay and Mr. Claude Rousseau, announced today that a new ticket package will
now be available to attend all the 2008 IIHF World Hockey Championship games presented in Quebec City from
May 1st to May 18.
In honor of Quebec City’s 400th anniversary, hockey fans will be able to purchase their ticket packages at
the lowest price ever offered in the history of the championship. Starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 29,
these packages will be on sale for only $400, with an option to pay in six or twelve installments through
Desjardins AccordD financing. With this package, fans will be able to attend all 30 games scheduled for the
Colisée Pepsi, comfortably seated in the gallery. With such an incredible offer, the championship organizers
hope to enable families, young people and fans of all ages to take part in this event which is being held in
Canada for the first time.
The Organizing Committee also took the opportunity to remind fans that packages are also available at the
mezzanine level at a cost of $800. For the fans wishing to be in the front rows and wanting the privilege to
