CALGARY, AB - Hockey Canada announced on Monday the list of 14 officials that have been selected to
officiate the 2006 TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship. The 2006 TELUS Cup will be held in
Charlottetown, PEI, April 24-30. All 14 of the officials chosen are from the province of Prince Edward Island
and selected through Hockey PEI.
The officials are selected through the Hockey PEI Officiating Committee, meeting the Hockey Canada
Officiating Program requirements for National Assignments selection.
The Hockey Canada Officiating Program congratulates these officials on their selection to officiate at the
2006 TELUS Cup:

The Hockey Canada Officiating Program is available for anyone interested in officiating the great game of
hockey, from beginners to seasoned veterans. There are six levels in the Officiating program, from those
looking to get started to the top tier of officials.
The lower levels are designed to get you started in officiating, while the higher levels are open to
officials who have advanced and show potential to work the top levels of hockey in Canada, and
