RED GETS SECOND WIN AND TAKES RED/WHITE SERIES 2-1

Team Red and Team White face-off in the rubber-match of a 3 game series on Monday night in Vancouver at GM Place. Red got off to an early start to the game with two goals from Steve Downie and Blake Comeau. At the end of one period, it was 2-0 Red.

Team White played a strong second and evened the score up at 2-2 with two goals from Guillaume Latendresse. White then replied with a goal from Tyler Kennedy. Team White tied it up at 3-3 when Tom Pyatt notched his first goal of the series.

WIth the scored tied 3-3 in the third period, Team Red Capitalized on the power-play as Alex Bourret burried a cross-ice pass. With less than a minute left, White pulled their goalie but could not muster any pressure as Red took the 3-game seires with a 4-3 win.

Guillaume Latendresse and Alex Bourret were named players of the game.
