OFFICIALS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2005 RBC ROYAL BANK CUP

CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada announced on Thursday the list of 10 officials that have been selected to officiate the 2005 RBC Royal Bank Cup, Canada’s National Junior ‘A’ Championship.  The 2005 RBC Royal Bank Cup will be held in Weyburn, Saskatchewan from May 7-15.  All 10 officials chosen are from the province of Saskatchewan and through the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, one of Hockey Canada’s 13 Branches.

The officials are selected through the Saskatchewan Hockey Association Officiating Committee, meeting the Hockey Canada Officiating Program requirements for National Assignments selection.

The Hockey Canada Officiating Program congratulates these officials on their selection to officiate at the 2005 Royal Bank Cup:

The Hockey Canada Officiating Program is available for anyone interested in officiating the great game of hockey, from beginners to seasoned veterans. There are six levels in the Officiating program, from those looking to get started to the top tier of officials.

The lower levels are designed to get you started in officiating, while the higher levels are open to officials who have advanced and show potential to work the top levels of hockey in Canada, and internationally.
