TEAM CANADA ADOPTS NEW DIGITAL VIDEO TECHNOLOGY

Through TechniCoach Inc., Canada's National Junior Team will have SportsCode™, the latest in digital video analysis tools, at their disposal throughout the 2003-2004 World Junior Championships in Helsinki, Finland. SportsCode™ software will allow coaches and development personnel to quickly and effectively break down play actions LIVE, off a direct video feed (or later off a video tape). The coaching staff will be able to support and make decisions based on the instant video replay capability that SportsCode™ provides.

Essentially, SportsCode™ gives coaches the ability to "mark" various plays which repeat continually throughout an entire game, for example, opposition power-play, scoring opportunities, face-offs etc. etc. These can be instantly recalled between periods to allow adjustments to be made to team systems to be more effective as the game progresses. Post-game, individual, opposition and own-team performance can be analysed with the advantage of having immediate video feedback.

TechniCoach Inc., is THE Canadian distributor of SportsCode™, the state-of-the-art video analysis technology quickly being adopted by Major Junior teams in the WHL, prominent universities in the NCAA as well as teams in NHL.

Says Lindsay Miles, director of TechniCoach Inc. "We are very proud to be able to contribute at this level and wish the Canadian National Junior Team all possible success in the 2003-2004 World Junior Championships!"
