Hockey Manitoba will conduct a provincial championship early in February to determine our team that will represent us at the 2004 Esso Nationals. There are three teams competing for the right to play in the championship. The University of Winnipeg Wesmen will be seeking their fourth consecutive provincial championship and with that the right to represent Manitoba. This year a new team of alumni players from the University of Manitoba program will be challenging them along with the Bears (both of who play in the Winnipeg Women’s Hockey League).
