CALGARY, ALBERTA - Forward Scott Kelman of Winnipeg, MB, and defenceman Luke Sellars of Pickering, ON, have been added to the National Junior Team Evaluation Camp Roster, the Canadian Hockey Association announced on Thursday.
Kelman, a 6'2", 185 lb centreman with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League, was a first round selection, 15th overall, of the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
Sellars, a 6'1", 185 lb defenceman with the Memorial Cup Champion Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League, was a second round draft pick of the Atlanta Thrashers, 30th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
Kelman and Sellars were added when forward Brett Lysak, of St. Albert, AB, was forced to withdraw due to an injury while defenceman Jonathan Girard, of Joliette, QC, declined the invitation.
The National Junior Team Evaluation Camp will be held from August 3-10, 1999 at the Beatrice Ice Gardens on the York University Campus, in Toronto, ON.
