Hockey Canada's Atlantic Centre of Excellence Celebrating 10Th Anniversary

(Saint John, NB) - Hockey Canada's Atlantic Centre of Excellence (ACOE) is celebrating its 10th Anniversary.   Established on , the Atlantic Centre of Excellence is both an administrative Hockey Development body and a resource facility located in Saint John, New Brunswick, serving the four Atlantic Provinces.

The ACOE facility includes: the Charles Hay Memorial Resource Library consisting of approximately 500 instructional  videos, an assembly area for local clinics and special events, a display of Atlantic Canadian Hockey trophies and the administrative offices for Hockey Canada’s Atlantic Centre of Excellence staff.

"Hockey in Atlantic Canada has a strong and proud tradition and we are pleased to have been a part of that tradition for the past ten years," stated Trevor Murphy, Manager, Hockey Operations of the Atlantic Centre of Excellence.  "The four Atlantic hockey branches have worked hard over the years to develop their programming and increase the development opportunities for everyone involved in their associations and we are thrilled to have been a part of this development."

The Atlantic Centre of Excellence, located at 125 Station Street in Saint John, New Brunswick, is involved with many different hockey initiatives in Atlantic Canada and they are planning to have a few special celebrations throughout the year to commemorate their 10th Anniversary.
