Join Our Team!

Volunteer applications are being accepted for Montreal only.

Due to an overwhelming response, we are no longer accepting applications to volunteer in Toronto. Volunteer opportunities are currently still available in Montreal. Apply today to avoid being disappointed.

This is your chance to volunteer and join the team that will bring the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship home to Canada from Dec. 26, 2014 to Jan. 5, 2015.

The 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship host committee is still accepting applications for volunteer positions in Montreal for this year’s Championship.

There are several exciting tournament areas to work in and various volunteer roles available in both cities. Volunteer areas include hospitality and protocol, logistics, media operations, special events, team services, and venue operations.

  • be a minimum of 16 years of age on September 1, 2014;
  • make a total commitment of 24 hours;
  • attend training sessions in advance of the event; and
  • complete established screening requirements including a Criminal Record Check.

All volunteers will receive a Nike apparel package and be provided with one meal or snack per shift depending on the shift length. In January 2015, all volunteers will be invited to celebrate their hard work and tournament success at a post-event volunteer appreciation party in each host city.

Thank you for your interest. We are looking forward to growing our team and working with our future volunteers to execute an exceptional IIHF World Junior Championship.
