TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – BRAMPTON 45’S

For the second consecutive season the Brampton 45’s topped the SCTA, holding off the Oakville Rangers by four points in what was a two-team battle for first place. After a 3-0 loss to the Rangers on Jan. 27 (Oakville handed the 45’s four of their losses), Brampton ran off six wins in a row to maintain its hold on first place. The 45’s finished their 36-game schedule with 149 goals scored and 80 against, both good for second in the SCTA, and both right behind Oakville. Brampton was at its best in December, going a perfect 7-0 for the month while outscoring its opponents 40-13.
