The Canadians fell 3-2 in overtime to the U.S. in Sunday’s gold medal game in Sundsvall.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist will lead Canada in Sundsvall, Sweden.
The Stellarton, N.S., native will play for Canada in place of Rebecca Johnston.
Five players will make their Team Canada debut beginning Nov. 4 in Sundsvall, Sweden.
The Canadians edged the U.S. 3-2 in a shootout to win their 14th gold medal.
Back to scoring goals, Sweden’s Erika Grahm is now building the next generation.
