Sport Chek Signs on As Presenting Sponsor for National Junior Team Camps
July 21, 2011

Hockey Canada’s official sporting goods retailer, Sport Chek is the presenting sponsor for a pair of Team Canada camps leading up to the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship in Calgary and Edmonton – the National Junior Team Sport Chek Summer Development Camp, scheduled for August 3-7 in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, and the National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp, scheduled for early December in Calgary.

As part of their sponsorship, Sport Chek will be selling tickets to the August 6 Red-White game at the National Junior Team Sport Chek Summer Development Camp, with proceeds from all ticket sales going to the Sport Chek’s Power of Sport for Kids program, which provides opportunities for sports, play and physical activity to deserving children who may not otherwise have the resources to take part, and the Hockey Canada Foundation, which works closely with Hockey Canada to raise money to support minor hockey programs.
