“Hockey Canada is looking forward to this IIHF event, which will be a great showcase for female hockey,” said Quinn. “This IIHF initiative is a great step forward for international female hockey, and will allow provide valuable experience to our players and the staff as we prepare for the 2011-12 season.”

The coaching staff for this event and the 2011 4 Nations Cup is comprised of head coach Dan Church (Toronto, Ont./York University, OUA) and assistant coaches Doug Derraugh (Arnprior, Ont./Cornell University, ECAC) and Danielle Goyette (St-Nazaire, Que./University of Calgary, Canada West).
