With the host team of the 2010 RBC Cup, the Dauphin Kings, officially kicking off their season last weekend, tickets are now on sale for Canada’s National Junior A Championship, scheduled for May 1-9, 2010 at Credit Union Centre in Dauphin.

“Early-bird sales during the spring and summer resulted in over 250 packages being sold to local hockey fans,” says Pete Conway, ticketing chairperson for the 2010 RBC Cup. “We were pleased with the early sales and are now launching our fall ticket campaign.”

The RBC ticket committee was out in force during the Kings’ opening weekend and was pleased to have the RBC Cup on display. In addition, the committee was on hand to promote ticket sales and provide information about ticket packages for the event.

Conway was pleased with the response of the fans, and has indicated that upwards of 50 ticket packages have been sold since the start of ticket sales last week.

“Now that hockey season is back we’re gearing up for a run on tickets,” says Conway. “We want to let people know that tickets in all sections are still available, but sales are heating up and we wouldn’t want anyone to be disappointed by waiting too long to purchase their tickets.”

Ticket packages are available for $240 for regular seats and $270 for club seats. Prices for both packages also include fees and taxes. A VIP feature which includes benefits like ‘front of the line’ service and VIP Lounge access is available for an additional $160, which can be added to either a regular or club seat ticket package.

Dauphin’s Countryfest is the official ticket box office, so tickets may be purchased at the office on Second Avenue SE in Dauphin. Complete ticket information is available by calling 1-888-459-2010.
