Canada’s 2009 National Junior Team was the first team to wear the third jerseys, which include the word ‘CANADA’ written from bottom to top on the front of the jersey, next to an abstract version of the Maple Leaf.

Three of the players whose items will be auctioned off – Patrice Cormier, Jordan Eberle and Ryan Ellis – are currently attending Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp in Regina, Sask., in an attempt to win their second gold medal in a row and help Canada to its record sixth-consecutive gold medal.

All proceeds from the sale of these game-worn items will go to the Hockey Canada Foundation, to assist in the promotion of the game at the grassroots level.

The auction will last only five days, closing on December 18.
