2008 Esso Women's Nationals, 2008 TELUS Cup and 2008 RBC Cup to be webcast live

CALGARY, AB – Hockey Canada, in partnership with premier marketing partner TELUS, have announced that round robin, semi-final and bronze medal games for the upcoming 2008 Esso Women’s Nationals, 2008 TELUS Cup and 2008 RBC Cup will be available live via webcast at www.telushockeycanada.com.

The games will be webcasted live from the respective host communities of Charlottetown, PEI, Arnprior, ON and Cornwall, ON, and will be accessible from anywhere around the world. The webcasts will be free of charge, and can be accessed from the front page of the Hockey Canada website at www.hockeycanada.ca.

Hockey Canada’s upcoming national championships:

2008 Esso Women’s Nationals – March 11th to 15th – Charlottetown, PEI
2008 TELUS Cup (National Midget Championship) – April 21st to 27th – Arnprior, ON
2008 RBC Cup (National Junior A Championship) – May 3rd to 11th – Cornwall, ON

The 2007-2008 season marks the first time that round robin, semi-final and bronze medal games from Hockey Canada’s national championships will be available via webcast. The gold medal games from all three events will be broadcast on TSN/RDS, the official broadcaster of Hockey Canada.
