Canada defeated Sweden handily with a split squad; however, with Canada’s full team dressed tonight, they struggled to stay ahead of the Yellow and Blue.Canada opened the scoring in the first on a goal by Hayley Wickenheiser, but the Swedes were playing Canada fairly even as the shots on net after the first were 6-5 in favour of Canada. Canada regained its one goal lead when captain Vicky Sunohara put one past Swedish netminder, Kim Martin.
