Hockey Canada Honors 1951 World Champions

As the U17 World Hockey Challenge presents the future of International Hockey. Hockey Canada wants to recognize and honor one of their Great Teams from the Past. The 1951 IIHF World Hockey Champions - Lethbridge Maple Leafs. There will be a pre-game Ceremony prior to the Jan 1st game between Team Pacific and Team Atlantic at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge. Players will be presented with their own Team Canada Jerseys and a Championship Banner will be raised to the rafters.

HAND TO ACCEPT TEAM CANADA JERSEYS

At the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge former players from the World Championship winning Lethbridge Maple Leafs were presented with their own Team Canada Jerseys and a Championship Banner was raised to the rafters.
