CALGARY, AB - Forward Jarome Iginla has been added for Canada's Men's Olympic Team's Orientation Session in Calgary, AB this week, the Canadian Hockey Association announced on Wednesday.

As with the last two player additions, the team's management and coaching staff is looking to ensure that there are enough players to stage competitive on-ice sessions.

Forward Simon Gagné (shoulder) will not be able to take part in the scrimmages planned for September 5th and 6th, but will continue to practice over the next few days.

Iginla, 24, is a five-year NHL veteran, all spent with the Calgary Flames. The native of Edmonton, AB, has represented Canada on the international stage previously. Iginla won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 1997 World Hockey Championship and a gold medal with Canada's National Junior Team at the 1996 World Junior Hockey Championship.

The orientation camp roster now stands at 37 players.

The orientation session runs September 4-7 at the CHA's head office in Calgary, Alberta, at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena.
