DAY 1 - WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2011

1. Stefannie Moak (G) - Atlantic
Stefannie Moak made 33 saves to lead Atlantic to a 4-0 shutout win over Saskatchewan top open the national championship Wednesday. She was unbeatable between the pipes.

2. Stéphanie Lalancette (F) - Québec
Stéphanie Lalancette was the hero in front of her enthusiastic fans, scoring two to lead her team to the 4-1 win over Ontario Blue Wednesday night, helping the home province to a great start.

3. Cydney Roesler (F) - Ontario Red
Under the pressure of being the tournament’s long time defending champions, Cydney Roesler notched a couple of markers en route to Ontario Red’s impressive 8-2 win over Manitoba.

DAY 2 - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2011

1. Abigail Clarke (G) - Atlantic
Atlantic’s goaltender Abigail Clarke blocked 32 shots, for an impressive showing in nets Thursday despite a tough 2-1 loss to Québec, leaving Saguenay fans on the edges of their seats through three periods of play.

2. Kayla Black (G) - Ontario Blue
Ontario Blue netminder Kayla Black saved 20 Saskatchewan shots, playing a pivotal role in her team’s 7-0 shutout win over the prairie province on the last day of preliminary action at the National Women’s Under-18 Championship.

3. Erika Sowchuk (F) - Alberta
Erika Sowchuk was her team’s hero in Thursday’s early game, scoring the game-winning goal just two minutes into overtime to give Manitoba a thrilling 2-1 win over Alberta on Day 2 in Saguenay.

DAY 3 - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2011

1. Stefannie Moak (G) - Atlantic
Two days after a 33-save shutout victory Saskatchewan, Moak turned in another stellar performance in Atlantic’s victory over Ontario Blue, making 44 saves in a 6-2 win, helping the Eastern Canadians to a berth in Saturday’s semifinals.

2. Cassidy Hendricks (G) - British Columbia
In her second game of the tournament, Hendricks nearly led B.C. to a second upset win, making 24 saves in a 2-1 loss to Manitoba, a perennial semifinal team. Hendricks has allowed just three goals on 51 shots, a sparkling .941 save percentage. 

3. Robyn Chemago (G) - Alberta
Alberta goaltender Robyn Chemago, was spectacular in defeat, making 29 stops on 30 shots however Alberta fell 1-0 despite Chemago's heroics in goal.

DAY 4 - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2011

1. Ann-Renée Desbiens (G) – Quebec
Desbiens came up with her best performance of the tournament when it mattered most, making 47 saves – 20 in the third period – to help Quebec to a win over Manitoba and a spot in Sunday’s gold medal game.

2. Kimberly Newell (G) – British Columbia
With her team outshot 36-14 over the last 40 minutes, Newell stood tall in the B.C. goal, turning aside every shots she faced – 40 in total – and helping the west coast side to its best finish since the January 2005 tournament.

3. Heather Berzins (F) – Alberta
Berzins was an offensive sparkplug for Alberta, earning one assist and setting up numerous scoring chances for the Prairie team, which made sure it left with at least one notch in the win column, taking seventh place.
