2004 National U18 Club Championship

HOST 5 - ATLANTIC 2

April 20, 2004
Kenora, ON

Another capacity crowd was on hand to support the home town team as they took on the Cornwall Thunder. After a scoreless first period, Kenora opened the scoring 51 seconds into the second period. Cornwall replied with a goal of their own two minutes later to tie it up at 1-1. At the four minute mark of the second, Kenora took a 2-1 led as Jamie Davis scored a high-lite reel goal turning two defenders inside out before the home crowd erupted. Kenora added one more before the end of the second to carry a 3-1 lead heading into the final period. Cornwall brought it to within one, before Kenora added two third period goals, including Jamie Davis’s second goal of the night to ice things for the Stars. With the win, Kenora is tied with Toronto at 1-1 for third spot on the leaders board, while Cornwall is still looking for it’s first win.
