Hockey Canada’s official tire retailer, Hankook Tire Canada is a technology-focused, market-driven company that markets and distributes a complete line of high performance and ultra-high performance tires in Canada. It has launched a number of Hockey Canada promotions, such as the Practice with the Pros contest, where winners participated in an on-ice practice with Team Canada alumni Paul Coffey and Angela James.



Mars has had a large in-store presence with the Hockey Canada brand, including 2009’s Predict the Team contest, where fans were invited to submit their roster for Canada’s 2009 World Junior Team, and Sweet Victory, where fans sent in UPC codes from Mars products for the opportunity to win an autographed 2011 National Junior Team jersey. The company has three key segments in Canada: chocolate, food and pet care.


Crown Royal

Introduced in 1939 in honour of King George VI’s visit, Crown Royal was available only in Canada until 1964. Hockey Canada’s official supplier of spirits, it is involved in a number of promotional activities within hockey and outside the game, including the 3 Star selections on Hockey Night in Canada, and “Race Matt Kenseth” with NASCAR, where it is the title sponsor for the Crown Royal Presents the Your Name Here 400.

When Team Canada is at home or abroad, it stays with Starwood. One of the world’s largest hotel and leisure companies, Starwood is the official accommodations provider of Hockey Canada. Starwood operates their business under different brands, including Westin, Sheraton and Four Points. With 1,027 hotels in more than 100 countries, Starwood operates primarily in the luxury and upscale segment of the hotel industry.
