Ramsay will serve as the Athletic Therapist with Team Canada at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Ramsay's international experience includes having served as the Head Athletic Therapist for Team Canada at the 2001 Men's World Hockey Championship in Germany.
'Rammer' is currently in his eighth season with the New York Rangers as the team's medical trainer. Ramsay joined the Rangers organization after spending five seasons with the Winnipeg Jets. Began his career with the Jets in 1989 after working two years in a private sports medicine practice in Winnipeg. Was selected to be a part of the training staff for the Western Conference team at the 1994 NHL All-Star Game held in New York. Graduated with honours in Athletic Therapy from the University of Manitoba. Currently serves as the secretary of the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society.
Ramsay and wife Anita reside in Somers, NY. Ramsay has one son, Mason (age 9) and daughter, Sloane (16 months)
