Canada dominated the early years of Olympic hockey, winning gold at six of the first seven Games between 1920 and 1952. Since NHLers began to compete in 1998 Canada owns three of five gold medals, including ended a 50-year drought in 2002, and a home-ice victory in Vancouver in 2010.
