TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – TRENTON GOLDEN HAWKS
For the second year in a row the Golden Hawks took home the East Division championship, and added their first-ever OJHL regular season crown by finishing four points up on second-place Buffalo, helped by a six-game winning streak to close out their schedule. Trenton’s offence finished fourth with 228 goals, but it was scoring by committee for the Golden Hawks – eight players recorded at least 30 points, led by Jordan Minello’s 59, which was good for 22nd in the OJHL scoring race. On the defensive end, Trenton allowed just 134 goals, tied with Kingston for the league’s best mark. The Golden Hawks’ one-two punch in goal, Andrew Winsor and Victor Adamo, shared the netminding duties, finishing third and fifth, respectively, in goals-against average at 2.22 and 2.39, and both recorded at least 18 wins.
