TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – DRYDEN ICE DOGS
A season-ending 12-game winning streak was icing on the cake for the Dryden Ice Dogs, who lapped the field in the SIJHL to win the regular-season title for the first time since 2008. The Ice Dogs were dominant in every facet of the game, finishing with a massive 26-point advantage on second-place Thunder Bay. Dryden scored 297 goals (77 more than anyone else) and allowed just 148 (35 fewer than anyone else). Its 27.5% success rate on the power play was far and away the best in the league, as was its 82.8% mark on the penalty kill, and it scored 22 times shorthanded. Braeden Allkins (53-44—97), Jacen Bracko (41-40—81) and Braedyn Aubin (29-51—80) were one-two-three in SIJHL scoring, leading five Ice Dogs in the top nine. At the back end, Patrick Zubick and Ben Dennis shared the goaltending duties; Zubick topped the league in goals-against average (2.30) and save percentage (.930), while Dennis was No. 2 in GAA and co-led in wins (22) without a regulation loss on his record.
