“These ticket packages are a fantastic deal for fans who want to see the top female Midget teams from across the country compete for the Esso Cup,” Burnaby Minor Hockey Association president Paul Sidhu said. “Get yours now to ensure you don’t miss any of the action on the ice this April.”

“The Esso Cup has quickly become one of the most exciting and entertaining female hockey tournaments not just in Canada, but around the world,” said Kalli Quinn, Hockey Canada’s director of female national teams. “It is a true showcase for our country’s up-and-coming young female players, and we look forward to seeing their skills on display in Burnaby this spring.”

The Fraser Valley Phantom, which competes in the BC Hockey Female Midget AAA League, is hosting the fifth annual Esso Cup, which will also feature five regional champions from Pacific, West, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic. The six teams will compete in a five-day round robin, followed by semifinals and the bronze and gold medal games.

The gold medal game will air on TSN/RDS, the official broadcasters of Hockey Canada, at 6 p.m. PT on Saturday, April 27. Please check your local listings for broadcast times in your area.
