Ross, a longtime senior executive with Molson Coors Canada, will join the organization at its head office in Calgary on March 1, and will oversee all business operations at Hockey Canada, providing both strategic and tactical direction to the organization’s overall business efforts.
Mike Ross, 45, worked with Molson Coors Canada for 22 years, recently as president of Creemore Springs and Granville Island Brewing Companies where he also created and launched a separate craft beer division for Molson Coors named Six Pints Specialty Beer Company. “The addition of Mike to lead our business efforts will help our organization strengthen our brand, business properties and events,” said Hockey Canada president and CEO Bob Nicholson. “In strengthening our business footprint, Hockey Canada and its member branches will be able to add programs, improve membership services, and improve the quality of the overall hockey experience in Canada.”
“I am very excited and truly honoured to be joining a first class organization like Hockey Canada,” said Ross. “I look forward to working with the entire team to build on the positive momentum they have earned and are currently enjoying.”
