Enter any number of Camrose businesses on any given Friday between now and April 30, and you’ll see a common wardrobe – it’s simple and it’s effective.

White T-Shirt Friday is spreading as the Rose City prepares to host the country at this year’s National Junior A Championship, April 30 to May 8 at the Edgeworth Centre.

The concept is simple: every Friday, individuals and employees and local businesses wear a simple white t-shirt – Kodiaks logo on the front, 2011 RBC Cup logo on the sleeve – to show their support not only for the national championship, but for the Kodiaks’ playoff run, which has now entered Round 2.

Thus far, the following businesses have jumped on board:

  • 2nd Floor Computers
  • Bono’s Grill
  • Bootlegger / Ricki's
  • Fountain Tire
  • Garvin’s Steak & Ribs
  • M&M Meat Shop
  • R & R Inn & Suites
  • RBC Royal Bank
  • UFA Camrose Farm & Ranch

Do you want to get involved? It’s easy – t-shirts are available for just $10 each, and can be purchased by calling the Kodiaks office at 780-679-2603.
