National Championship Sites Announced for 2007 and 2008 Hockey Canada Events

ST. JOHN’S, NFLD – As part of its Annual General Meeting taking place this weekend, Hockey Canada announced on Monday the site locations for various Hockey Canada National Championships and National Events in 20.

The sites were selected from various bid submissions, and were chosen by Hockey Canada’s council members and approved by the Hockey Canada Board of Directors during its AGM.

Note: * denotes previously announced location

RBC Royal Bank Cup – Canada’s National Junior A Hockey Championship

2008 – Cornwall, ON

* May 5-13, 2007 – Prince George, BC

Women’s Under 18 Championship – November

2007 - Kitchener, ON

Esso Women’s National Championship – Canada’s National Women’s Hockey Championship

2008 – Charlottetown, PEI

* March 7-11, 2007 – Salmon Arm, BC

TELUS Cup – Canada’s National Midget Championship

2008 – Arnprior, ON

* April 23-29, 2007 – Red Deer, AB
