CASSIE CAMPBELL - Cassie is participating in her seventh IIHF World Women’s Hockey Championship (94, 97, 99, 00, 01, 04). She has won 18 medals in her career with the National Women’s Team since her start in 1994. Cassie has been the National Women’s Team Captain since the 2001-02 season. She graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours degree in Sociology. Cassie is a product of the Brampton Minor Hockey Association.

Well it’s crunch time at the World Women’s Hockey Championships. As we head into the medal rounds I can honestly say that I have never seen Team Canada play as well as we have so far. Completely consistent, unselfish hockey and everyone totally dedicated to the goal in front of us. So far this has been an unbelievable experience, and I am so excited like my teammates to get to the next level. We are prepared and ready to play.
